Suspicious text message? CERT Polska explains where to report it

CERT Polska identifies 8080 as the number for forwarding suspicious SMS messages. Forward the message without changing its contents.

Other incidents can be reported using the form at incydent.cert.pl. There is no need to click a suspicious link simply to investigate its destination.

Time pressure, an unexpected payment request and requests for personal details are reasons to pause and verify the sender through another channel. Reporting a message does not replace contacting your bank if banking details have already been exposed.
